The Ghost Ant Colonies are gradually invading the Amazonian world. This is nearly the point of no return!
The Ghost Ant Colony is here, and no human is aware of it. Natives in the southern region of the Amazon Rainforest are disappearing, and their families have no idea what has happened nor where they are. Queen Clavata has developed a new species of ants that can live deep underground and hunt at night. The original colony has now multiplied into hundreds of colonies spreading all over the Amazon ecosystem. I have a floating laboratory aboard the Benjamin, but so far I have not seen any of these mysterious ants. I study this forest and this amazing river and can only wonder about the threat to the beauty that is this paradise.
My Nemesis
No one knows who Queen Clavata is or where she came from. Her secret to the creation of the ant colonies is one of science’s biggest mysteries. Some natives speculate they are from another planet, sent here to punish humans for destroying Earth.
My Mission
I must use all my physical and intellectual skills at my disposal to find out why the natives are disappearing, and whether there is any truth to the theory of giant ants devouring humans. In case I forgot to mention it, I was in the Marines for ten years and decided to earn my degree and move to Peru, where I bought the Benjamin and put down roots among the natives.
